School starts in about one week. Once summer break is over, we’ll be studying on the weekends. (With having fun and being in cozy environments). 🥐☕️
1. Having cozy environments
When studying, the environment is important. If it’s organized and clean it feels easier to study and not get distracted. This fall, I wish I had a close café to study at. Think of it as Gilmore Girls. They have a local café that they always go to. Study in cafés, libraries, at home, in a park, the garden, etc. 🌳🌴
2. Schedule study sessions
While having a time for when to study, plan when. Is it directly when you get home from school, over the Saturdays for 1h, at what time? ⏰ Set the timer on 20 minutes. Read and revise during that time, then once the alarm goes off, take a 5 or 10 minute break (without scrolling). If you scroll instead of taking a little snack or something it will feel much harder to get back to studying. Over the break you could research different study techniques. No snoozing when the alarm goes off again. Back to studying. 📚
3. See studying as a privilege instead of a disadvantage
Shift your mindset. There are so many girls is different countries that can’t go to school, study, or learn. They want to learn. But you get to learn. Study for yourself and the ones who can’t. 🌟🍵
Right now you might see it as boring, or unnecessary, but in the future you will thank yourself for studying so hard. 🩰✨
Study hard now - xoxo Edith
